Fraud more or less?

Are we seeing more fraud or does it just seem like it because of instant social media, print and TV reporting?  New accounting software and self prepared taxes create an avenue for fraud.  Stealing mail from mailboxes (to secure bank accounts and social security numbers) to internet fraud on billing your credit cards.

With the economic recession and more pressure placed on companies and individuals to make money  fraud is more  prevalent as well as a decline in the moral underpinnings in today’s society.  Fraud is easier to commit with computers and cell phones, so yes fraud is increasing.  This week alone we caught fraudulent transactions on two separate corporate clients!
